That Saturday night w TMD  TooMuchDrama (yea, that s their new band name),

There s a part of the brain called the nucleus accumbens that indicates how much you like a particular song. The more activated it is, the more interested you are.

There are a hundred things she has tried to chase away the things she wont remember and that she cant even let herself think about because that s when the birds scream and the worms crawl and somewhere in her mind it s always raining a slow and endless drizzle.

You will hear that she has left the country, that there was a gift she wanted you to have, but it is lost before it reaches you. Late one night the telephone will sign, and a voice that might be hers will say something that you cannot interpret before the connection crackles and is broken.

Several years later, from a cab, you will see someone in a doorway who looks like her, but she will be gone by the time you persuade the driver to stop. You will never see her again.

Whenever it rains you will think of her.

Too busy to type recently.

(I look damn ugly and weird in this picture, but wtv.. this is the only picture we took w them.)

I Want A Fashion Blog event w the double A(s), Andrea and Amanda last weekend! It was an inspiring workshop early in the morning, learning about how Fashion Bloggers maintain their Blogs, Photography Techniques they used while shooting, and also Marketing and PR.

I am interested in writing a Blog, but as usual, Im bad w language/ words, basically English, so forget about that. Ive got really huge interest in Photography, as well as Marketing and PR. I love taking pictures of anything that I love, and random things that catches my eyes. So far, I rly love all the pictures Ive taken. They may not be as good as those shot by professional photographers, but Im pretty satisfied w my own so far. I wna take pictures of human beings, and I find that really difficult. I wna take picture of human s feelings, expression, and their thoughts. Im still figuring that out by taking pictures of myself, but so far, no good ones.. haha. That sucks:/

Marketing and PR, something that relates to what I learned in my university, something that dares me to talk a little bit more as compared to last time. Something that open me up, and made me more sociable today. The important points that I learned about Marketing and PR are, engagements, networking and creating your own identity.

Engagement, being able to engage with your readers/ audience, through the words or the pictures that you re posting. Networking, I guess it s the connection you have with people. I think networking, and connection is important throughout one s life, whether it s online or real life. It reflects a lot about your personality. Someone used to say this to me "be nice to everybody who step into our lives, cause you ll never know that one day you might need them desperately". I do agree that we ve to be nice to people, and of course give them a helping hand as long as it s within our limits. But I never believe that there are people who are always nice, like angels. I mean, angels dont exist anyw, they are just fairytales, to me. So yes, be nice.. but dont try too hard by faking it.

"There are devilish thoughts even in the most angelic minds" - Rachel Wolchin.

Lastly, creating your own identity. I like this one, cause I guess Ive got my own identity too; jadeysinthefridge. I guess creating your own identity is a name that people know you as. It can be your real name, or it can also be a name you ve created for yourself online which people know about. Well, I am happy that w/o realising, jadeysinthefridge have became my identity to people I know, and also to people whom I dont know (friends' friend, or even strangers, maybe). I get things like, "oh you re the girl in the fridge", "are you the girl in the fridge", "she s jadeyinthefridge right" when I met new people. Not always, but sometimes, and that is enough to make me happy, haha. It s like, I didnt expect people to know me as jadeysinthefridge, it was an identity I created years back, and nobody rly bothers other than my friends who follows me on Twitter and Instagram, hence Im rly surprise. I guess any one would definitely be happy knowing that someone whom you dont know, know your existence right?

Was rly motivated, and an idea popped in my head right after the entire event. Not sure if I am able to make it happen, but you never try, you ll never know right?

Lets wait and see;)

It was rly stressful job hunting the last few months. I didnt expect that it would be so difficult for a fresh graduate to look for w job, like srsly! Well, thanks to a friend, I got a job (yea, that s connection, haha). Being in the company for a month plus, Ive finally decided to go for the job. If you ask me, I would say, it s an interesting job, and the environment is definitely what one would crave for at work. Ive learn a lot so far, and Im really thankful for the opportunity, and allowing me to learn things that I have no experience in before. Really appreciates the patience and the guidance they re giving me. Looking forward to journey ahead in the company, w these bunch of lovely colleagues:)

Ive got more to type, but its late alr, gona head to bed. Goodnight humans.

Dinner w Aaron and Siwei then off to Switch.

Junyi was subbing Allie for the night, and he s good, esp when he sings all the Bruno Mars songs. As usual, I was enjoying the music they play, staring, drinking my drink and catching the drum beats of the songs. While the two beside me was judging judging and judging..... lol. They re not judging in a bad way, but catching all the beats and cords they play. I would be so stressed up on stage if I know such audience exist in the crowd, haha.

Was there only at the second set, so we stayed throughout. I was really tired during the third, and I was turning red after my drink for the first time. No idea why, but it sucks cause my head was hurting. Collapse right away when I reach home.

I dont always reply to text msges, and many knows. But there re just a few that I will definitely reply. Yea I sucks like that, I know. I would smile, and felt happy whenever I see these names appearing on my screen. Its special, they re special, you re special. Sometimes I am afraid, afraid that one day it might not appear again.. I srsly am.

I would always think, it s weird how I dont even know you years ago, and now I cant imagine not seeing you sometimes, not texting. So we better not lose touch, because although I lived w/o you before, I dont know if I can do it now.

I learn something impt that day.

You shouldnt try to stop something from happening. Sometimes you re supposed to feel awkward. Sometimes you re supposed to be vulnerable in front of people. Sometimes it s necessary because it s all part of you getting to the next part of yourself, the next day.

Had a simple dinner w the D cliques and as usual, it never fails to make my day better meeting up w them. Well, glad to know that everyone s doing well now, and of course, those smiles of yours are back! It was a relief to see you getting back to who you are. I would still send you a picture of your dad when I bump into him on the street again, haha;)

Anyw, do you hate yourself when you cant put what you re thinking into words? I do. Sometimes even when Im able to put them into words, I ll end up keeping them to myself. Words that are said too often sometimes loses its meaning. It s sad, isnt it? That s why they say, action speaks louder than words, I guess. But what if there s nothing you could do to prove that you meant your words?

Well, those are just random thoughts.

Woke up by Apc early in the morning, asking if I can meet her for lunch. While discussing, I told her that I wna go to the Zoo and she wna go to River Safari, so we went.

Yes, that was damn random.

It was my second time at River Safari, and we miss the damn boat ride. Overall it was boring other than meeting the two pandas. So we decided to go to the zoo too! So happy yet sad.

I love the Zoo. It s a place whereby countries earn their revenue, a place where we get to see huge and soon to extinct animals close up. But maybe we should all visit Africa where by these animals lives in their real habitat and not somewhere re-created. It feels rly sad seeing just a few of them living by themselves in the Zoo, like the Polar Bear (he was alone), the Pandas (though there was two of them, but they were seperated), the Lion (I only saw one) and many other animals.

Perhaps it s because of the limited space provided, hence the amount of them are limited, which is rly sad. I stood at the Polar Bear area for almost 45mins, wondering if he s lonely inside that enclosed area where it seems big to all our human eyes, but I dont think it s big enough for him as compared to where he came from.

But well.

You animals are so beautiful.

Had a short chat w Apc after our entire trip about the recent shit of mine. Well, Im still talking about it today, which means I haven let it go. It s not as easy to me as compared to them I guess. Perhaps I treasure more, maybe I care more, it was impt to me..... but so what? It meant nothing to them, nothing.

Im sorry that I was unable to fulfill your expectations, and this would be the last time Im going to talk about it.

Moving on.

Hi Fridge.

Had a random meet up w Aaron and Siwei to Wala to pass Simon his poster for his previous event at City Music.

I was damn surprised w the band of the night at Wala, the Unexpectedrock! They played old heavy music for the entire night. Shirlyn, the vocalist of the band rly amazed me w her pretty face, and that mad amazing rock voice\m/ You should visit Wala on Thursday to check her and the band out, you will definitely be like, "fuck, Singapore needs more of this good musicians".

I was almost deaf when we left, but it was totally worth it.

Few days back I asked a friend, "what s the best thing that happened to you".

Then I realized, I have to crack my brain for an answer myself. Guess what Ive got? Firstly, having nice good helpful humans around me, and secondly, me picking up drums years back. Oh yea, and playing on stage for the first time w Heimuke (though I was that horrible)! Well, I guess if I am better, whacking away, enjoying myself, that would then be the bestest thing that happened to me.

Talking about having nice good helpful humans around me being one of the best thing that happens to me, my friend replied, "not for me, because I take humans for granted".

I guess every single one of us definitely take humans for granted some of the times, including me. Taking humans for granted, I might be one of the worst. Despite the fact that I do love some of the humans around me, but I still wont appreciate nor care enough, knowing that they will always be there for me, especially family. Someone used to ask me, "do you realized that we re treating humans whom is not related to us better (friends/ boyfs/ girlfs) than those who are blood related to us". I cant agree more, it s true to most of us (I guess?), it s true to me. Or maybe that s just one of the nature of being a human?

Whatever. To me, caring or appreciating is magic. I never believe that humans are always kind caring and appreciating, just like I dont believe that angels nor unicorns exist.

Just another day wondering.

As we grow older, we learn a lot. Whether you want to or not, you learn. Some say they hate learning, like going to school, but do you know that you re actually learning wherever you are, not just school. You re learning when you re doing nothing at home. You re learning when you talk to your friends. You re learning when your parents nag at you. You re learning even when you re just strolling alone on the street. You may even be learning in your sleep, in your dreams.

Cause, I am.

That s when you wish that you know nothing, you wish that you could always be the little crying baby when you were first born.

But again, do you know that when you were first born, you actually know something. You know you re hungry, you know you re tired, and that s why you cry. You knew that crying was the only way to get what you want then, and that s why you did.

Now another thing came to my mind. Why crying is what all babies does when they have to get out of their mommy s tummy? Is it because they cant bear to leave their mommy s tummy? Is it because they knew that it s time for them to face the real world? Or is it because that s the only way for them to express themselves, saying hello to everyone who s there waiting for their arrival? Then I learn that, not all babies cry with their first breath after being born. They cry because they are bruised and sore from the trauma of birth, or to check their ability to adapt and transition normally to life outside the uterus, and again they knew something, that s why they did, right?

Since the day we were created by the combination of our daddy s sperm, and mommy s egg, till the very day today, we re learning, and it will never stop. We hate to learn because sometimes looking for answers to the questions we already have, leads us to more questions, and sometimes we re better off not knowing.

But still, we have to face it, learning every single thing, whether you want to or not, and getting all the answers, whether it kills you or not. The only thing we could do is, accept it and move on.

Sunday, when the thoughts starts to wonder.
